The goal of the missions council is to identify missions needs and opportunities, develop strategies to respond to unmet missions needs, and to support and strengthen established missions organizations and programs.
Ballwin Baptist Church uses an Acts 1: 8 strategy for missions.

Mission efforts are focused to be more effective in meeting needs at all four levels - local, state, national and international. The 2010 emphasis supports:
Camp Sputnik Ukrainian Camp for Children: An opportunity found through the Russian Congregation that meets within the Ballwin Baptist Church walls. Members from Ballwin Baptist join in this mission effort every summer to travel to the Ukraine and help with things that are needed, such as painting, construction, cooking, sports, working with the children, among other various needs.
Christian Activities Center in East St. Louis: Chet Cantrell, Director. Phone 618-874-5615, website http://www.cacesl.org/. The "CAC" helps 165+ children each day through opportunities to learn in a structured environment through tutoring, planned activities, fun events and sharing the word of God.
Metro North Ministries in North St. Louis: Teresa Smith, Director. Phone 314-382-3826. We help with food pantry collection, delivering and sorting food and clothing.
Shining Light Baptist Outreach in Charleston, MO: Dean Wallace, Director. Phone 573-683-2219, website http://www.shininglightoutreach.org/. There is an overwhelming need in this poverty stricken community in many areas.

Missouri Baptist Children's Home is committed to serving God by responding to the needs of children, youth and families. We help collect items for their wish list each June and July, as well as other miscellaneous help.
